Stair rods can add a statement to any staircase no matter the size. We can customise any carpet in store to suit your design, size and finish the stairs beautifully with the stair rods you choose. From Nickel, Brass, and Chrome to Antique, Bronze, Pewter and many more. There are plenty of combinations that will compliment any decor.
The process of making the stair runner and fitting is quite simple.
All you have to do is;
- Choose the right carpet for you that meets all your design needs. Whether that is a subtle and plain twist pile, a loud and proud Wilton design, and anything in between.
- Tell us the width of the runner you would like on your stairs.
- Choose a coordinating wool yarn for the binding.
- Choose the style of the rods in the colour you love.
- Finally, place your order and book a fitting date to suit you.
Available Stair Rod Ranges
There are 10 ranges to choose from and each range brings its own style and touch of elegance. If you are looking for a modern finish or a country look, there is a range for you.
The most popular stair rods in the collection are the Jubilee and Homepride. Each range has 8 timeless finishes, and the rods range from 70cm up to 150cm. This means no staircase is too big, or too small. Why not pop into our showroom to view the samples and our staircase display?
For all stair rods, we recommend using a damp cloth to keep the rods clean. Please spray any cleaning products intended for use on the woodwork of the staircase directly onto a cloth to apply, as overspray can tarnish the rods. Clean off liquid spills immediately with a damp cloth and dry with a clean cloth.
For Brass, Satin Brass, Antique Bronze, Antique Brass, and Pewter finished rods, remove spills immediately with white vinegar to limit corrosion. Brass will tarnish over time, and using a copper shine cloth that can be brought from most DIY stores will polish the rods (avoid contact with the floor covering).
In-store Binding Service
All of our stair runners are made right here in our showroom, so there are no delays* between measuring and fitting your beautiful carpet with the stair rods of your choice. However, stair runners are not all we can cater for. If you have recently had your new carpet fitted and have waste pieces left over, why not have them made into mats? Simply drop in the carpet, tell us the size you would like your mat to be, and we will take care of the rest.
We will be more than happy to provide a quotation, so please contact us with your requirements. We will then arrange a home visit to take measurements.
At any time, please feel free to pop into our showroom and view our stair rod and carpet samples.
*Lead times will vary depending on how busy the showroom and fitting diary is. Binding of stair runners for orders to be fitted by our team will be prioritised.
