We are often asked how long our fitting lead times are for carpet, vinyl and hard flooring, and this is what we will discuss in this blog post. As a general answer, we usually get things done somewhere between 2-4 weeks. However, there are lots of factors to take into consideration.
Location of the property being fitted
If the property is very local to us (eg; in the PE4 or PE1 areas) then this makes it easier to pop out rather than a long drive away.
Size/quantity of flooring
If it is a full property that needs fitting out with carpets, vinyl or laminate flooring then this will take up a bigger space in our diary and we will need more time to get things ordered, delivered and checked in time for fitting.
Flexibility
If you are flexible when the flooring can be fitted then there is more chance we will be able to find a slot in our diary, but if there are only limited days we can visit then this will probably extend the available date.
Product availability
If you choose something from our large range of stock items located in our showroom, then we will be purely looking for a fitting slot as we have the carpet/flooring in stock. However, if you choose something that we don’t hold in stock here in Werrington, then this will certainly extend the lead times.
